Isaiah 48:17
Isaiah 48:17 - This is what the LORD says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.
Luke 19:10 - "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."
John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Jesus is the way we should follow!
4 Ways That We Can Find the Will/Way Of God
1) Word Of God
2)Clear Witness Of The Spirit
3)Counsel Of Godly Leaders
4)Cast A Lot - Toss A Coin
1) Word Of God
Ps 119:105 - Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
We can usually know which way we should follow if we read the bible... e.g. between right and wrong.2)Clear Witness Of The Spirit
Isaiah 30:21 - "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it." "
John 10:27 - "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me."
God speaks to us through our inner voice...
But sometimes is it the Holy Spirit or our own desires?
3) Counsel Of Godly Leaders
Pro 15:22 - Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.
When in doubt, we can ask our Spiritual leaders... It is better than doing things that we are unsure about...
4) Cast A Lot - Toss A Coin
This is only after you carried out the first 3 steps and is still unsure... But once you throw, you must obey and follow it!
Another 4 Points About Your Future
1) Believe That God Has A Plan For You
Jer 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Eph 2:10 - For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
God already had our whole life carefully planned out to the finest detail...
2) Decide to Choose God Purpose
Rom 12:1-2 - Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
God's purpose is already there... It's only if we decide to choose it...
3) Trust That God Is In Control
Rom 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
We must have Faith... Without faith, it is impossible to trust God...
4) Develop An Intimate Relationshop With God
1 John 1:5 - This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
